About Me

Welcome to Picture My Heart! My name is Aubrei Michelsen!
I am an aspiring photographer on her way to college. My husband and I live in Rexburg, Idaho where Johnny is currently going to school.

I first discovered that I had an eye for photography when I was a senior in high school. I was at the time editor-in-chief of my high school yearbook. We had a pretty small team of people and only one photographer sadly. This meant that I had to step up and do more than already required. But this became a blessing because otherwise I would have never known of my talent.

After high school though I didn't really use my gift very much; practically never. I went off to college  for two semesters with a completely different major. Then to go back to my hometown and become a certified pet groomer.

My husband and I were married in 2011 in the LDS Billings Montana Temple and moved to Rexburg two days later. I pretty much started working focusing more on supporting us here then what to do with my life. It has been until this last year that I have finally decided to establish my talent and become more educated in this area.

So I am starting out slowly.... I have begun the process of getting back to school and trying to take lots of good photos. I would love to take family pics, engagement, senior photos, etc.

 There is a catch though......
I take these awesome photos with my iPad Mini!! Now don't turn your nose up at it... And yes I know it looks a little ridiculous but THEY TURN OUT AMAZING!! Don't believe me take a look for your self!
